講演タイトル：Advancing Physics Together: The Physical Review Journals and Japan

講演者情報：

• Yiming Xu
  He received his B.Sc. from Nanjing University in China and his Ph.D. from Boston College, both in experimental condensed matter physics. His research focus was on the electronic properties of strongly correlated materials. He has been an editor for Physical Review X in 2014.
• Donovan Hall
  He completed his Ph.D. at Louisiana State University in 1997, and spent five years at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory in Tallahassee, Florida primarily conducting magnetic measurements on strongly correlated materials. He has been a Physical Review Letters editor since 2022.
• Jessica Thomas
  As Executive Editor, Jessica leads the APS Editorial Department and nearly 100 external editors, directing the editorial teams across the journal portfolio and contributing to portfolio strategy. Jessica has a Ph.D. in experimental condensed matter physics from MIT and worked as a postdoc and researcher at Brookhaven National Lab (BNL). She has worked as an editor for Nature Nanotechnology and for Physical Review Letters.
• Kohei Kawabata
  Early Career Advisory Board Member, Physical Review B
  Kohei Kawabata is an associate professor at the Institute for Solid State Physics in the University of Tokyo. He received his PhD in physics from the University of Tokyo in 2022. After he was a Gordon and Betty Moore postdoctoral research associate at Princeton University, he joined the faculty at the University of Tokyo in 2023. His research explores various theoretical aspects of condensed matter physics, particularly fundamental and universal characterization of phases and orders far from equilibrium.

  He is also a Steering Committee Member of the Condensed Matter Division 4 of the Physical Society of Japan.
