1840 年代から1930 年代までの期間に開催された万国博覧会、植民地博覧会、各国の国内博覧会に関して、公式政府報告書、展示品目録、運営関連資料（運営関係者の書簡、経理関係書、建築プランなど）、記念出版物・記念品（写真、ポスター、ポストカード、パノラマ画など）、訪問客用ガイドブック、宣伝用資料、研究書、講演録、テクニカルレポートなどを収録します。
