アメリカ外交政策極秘文書シリーズ (DNSA)
概要
機密解除文書を中心にアメリカ政府の外交関連文書を収録するデータベースです。
重要な国家政策の形成・施行過程に関するアメリカ政府機関の文書を収集・公開する非営利団体、 The National Security Archive（NSA、アメリカ国家安全保障アーカイブ）とクラリベイト（旧ProQuest）の協力の下、NSAの所蔵文献の中から特に重要な文献を選び、学術研究向けに編纂して提供します。
データベース化に際しては、情報公開法を積極的に活用してより包括的に資料を入手し、最新の機密解除文書を多数収録しています。 収録する資料は、NSAが選抜した専門委員団が明確な選定基準に基づいて選定し、さらに、学術利用に耐えうる書誌索引情報を付与しています。（提供元：ProQuest）
| 非営利団体National Security Archive (NSA) とは 重要な国家政策の形成・施行過程に関する政府機関の文書を収集・公開することを目的とした米国の団体です。1985年の設立以来、ときには訴訟も駆使して体系的に米国政府の機密解除文書の公開請求を行っています。これまで200以上の政府機関に対して5万件にも及ぶ公開請求を申し立てて1,000万ページ以上の文書の開示に成功しており、アメリカ政府自体を除けば、現代アメリカの国家安全保障に関する一次資料を最も多く所蔵していると言われています。 当デジタル・アーカイブは、NSAとクラリベイトの協力のもと、NSAが収集した機密解除文書から特に重要なものを選び、学術研究に適した編纂を施して、 クラリベイトを通じて研究機関に有償で提供するものです。 |
このデータベースについて
- アメリカ国家安全保障アーカイブの所蔵文献をテーマごとに「コレクション」にまとめて電子化します。
- 1年に2コレクションずつ、新しいコレクションをリリースします。
- 全ての文書をフルページイメージで収録し、書誌索引情報を付与します。
- 用語解説、年表、参考文献など、研究・調査の参考になるコンテンツを提供します。
- 政府機関が内外へむけて作成したさまざまな文書を収録します。NSAの公開請求により機密解除されたもの、他で出版されたことのないものを多く含みます。
